Platser på workshop exklusivt för anställda: How to be an artist in times of decoloniality?
Workshopen kommer att ge insikter som stärker dig som konstnär genom förståelse och hantering av nya sociala krav, samt utmaningar från sociala rörelser i samtida samhällen. Workshopen kommer att innehålla både teoretiska och praktiska aktiviteter.
Rodolfo genomförde motsvarande workshop och föreläsning i samband med Theatertreffen 2024 och är även medskribent till«Looking for direction – rethinking theatre directing practices and pedagogies in the 21st century”, ett resultat av et europeisk samarbeidsprosjekt som har sitt utspring fra Ernst Busch-skolen i Berlin.

Om kursledaren:
Born in São Paulo, Brazil in 1962, Rodolfo García Vázquez is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at Universidade de São Paulo, focusing on research in the decolonial theater field. Rodolfo is a multifaceted professional—being a director, playwright, filmmaker, and founder of the renowned Os Satyros Theatre Company (1989), which boasts a repertoire of over 140 theatre productions.
Throughout his career, Rodolfo has directed numerous plays, receiving accolades and performing in 37 countries. As a prolific playwright, his works have been translated into Spanish, English, Swedish, and German. He has been honored with top awards in Brazilian theater. His contributions extend beyond Brazil, with recognition and awards received in Cuba, the United States, Cape Verde, the United Kingdom, Kenia and India.
