Theory meets practice in this interactive conversation between costume designer/researcher Madeline Taylor, former head of tailoring/workshop and costume designer Torbjörn Bergström, and the audience. Drawing on both research and lived experience, the session highlights the often-overlooked creative collaboration between designers and workshop specialists involved in creating theatre costumes. Together, we aim to spark an insightful and interactive discussion from both international and local perspectives – bridging cultural contexts and fostering more effective and rewarding professional relationships. The conversation is moderated by costume designer and senior lecturer in performing arts, Christina Lindgren.
